My last Windows installation died a few days ago. Now I'm using the same computer but running Ubuntu (linux) on it, and life is much better. * that piece of * OS, although I admit it does have it's benefits and it's uses.

But still, I'm not going to use it for like a month, and I'm guessing my blood pressure will be alot lower after said month.

Man I need to get outside... Too much computer and not enough play makes Johnny a dull boy.

Windows 7 is actually really good. As for nix distros i use Fedora Core for desktop and CentOS for server.

My main pc is Windows 7 64bit Ultimate OEM and it runs great. ( I play a ton of games so I need Windows )

Yeah I'm more ambivalent towards windows now. I'm going to be going to school for programming in September, so that was part of my reason for switching to Linux. It's good for something that is freely available.

It was Windows 7, installed in late 2010, and never reformatted. Computer was also aging, it was my fault really for not maintaining it... Windows 7 is legit, I agree.

But still, * it.

I have a program called KMSpico that automatically activated Windows 10. I'm assuming because it's Microsoft that you're still having this issue 7 years later.

Still using Windows for gaming ( Windows 10 Pro ), and I use Ubuntu mainly for nix now vs Fedora Core as its a lil bit nicer, but I still like CentOS for servers :), but I am stuck with a ubuntu distro on the Raspberry PI,

Ubuntu is great, I used to have it dual booted with Windows 7. Now I just don't use my computer for the same kinda garbage, I've become an old man and I like how I can have access to all my games and * through apps.
